RECENT PROJECTS
TUDOR CART SHED
This shed is being converted into a golf simulation room. I worked with a team of Polish builders in London teaching them how to use hempcrete. We added 150mm of hempcrete between the timbers. 6m3 all hand placed in 2 days.
NORFOLK GUEST HOUSE
This building is 40m3 of hempcrete, 300mm thick, with the timber frame in the centre of the wall. This was later rendered with lime both inside and out. I worked with Hemp Lime Spray on this build.
GATEHOUSE OF FLEET
I worked on this build with HempLimeSpray, some sections were hand placed but it was mostly spray applied. This house has some incredible views.
DORSET
This is a converted barn on a farm in Dorset. The walls are 300mm thick of hempcrete which has since been lime plastered on the inside and timber clad on the outside. The client was able to save a lot of money by supplying friends and family as labour. Handplacing hempcrete is very simple and anyone can do it if taught correctly.
NORFOLK ECO HOUSE
This was one of Graham's jobs which I worked on with him. This photo shows the shuttering we used while hand placing the first floor. Moving the mixer into the room you are working on is ideal as long as you've got good ventilation.
